What is Sedna Protocol?
In 1989, every member of The Sedna Facility vanished without a trace. The event was buried by the government, erased from the public eye, and labeled a classified anomaly. Seven years later, in 1996, a covert agent is sent beneath the surface to uncover what truly happened inside Sedna’s sealed halls.
But the deeper he descends, the more reality begins to fracture. Time itself becomes unstable. The facility was never abandoned — it was contained.
Sedna Protocol is a dark, atmospheric sci-fi horror experience inspired by the unsettling realism of Half-Life and the brutalist weight of forgotten Cold War architecture. Players will uncover the truth behind Sedna’s experiments as the line between science and nightmare collapses.
The Goal with the Music
The music of Sedna Protocol is designed to amplify the psychological descent — blending cinematic tension, industrial ambience, and fractured melodies that evolve as the story unfolds. Each chapter has its own sonic identity:
Unearthed sets the tone with haunting minimalism and analog decay.
Power Surge fuses distorted synths and rhythmic pulses mirroring the hum of unstable machinery.
Fractured Reality bends sound itself — warped harmonics, reversed textures, and fractured motifs echoing the protagonist’s unraveling mind.
Borealis closes with a fusion of eerie calm and futuristic melancholy — a reflection of time lost, and reality rewritten.
The goal is to make the player feel the collapse of time and sanity through sound — where the score doesn’t just accompany the world, it becomes part of it.
